What Can I Do To Help You?

It is indeed extraordinary times we are living in right now! The majority of my patients fall within the vulnerable and at risk category or are in the older age bracket. Like many others I have closed my clinic doors and my physical acupuncture practise is on hold. I have been thinking about ways I can continue to support patients, both existing and new, to provide health care and help maintain immunity during this Covid-19/Carona Virus pandemic.

I am a fully qualified Chinese Medicine practitioner and have many years of experience with which to help you stay well. I am offering consultations as I would in my clinic via video link on Skype/Messenger/FaceTime or by phone. Obviously I am unable to use my magic needles, but my toolkit is full of other methods with which to help you.

During a consultation I will carry out an FTD or Full Traditional Diagnosis, as is standard practise in my clinic. This involves asking in depth questions about your current and past health issues, your diet, sleep patterns, exercise, medications and other lifestyle factors. Questioning in this way enables me to make a detailed diagnosis and from that your individualised and unique treatment plan.

Your treatment plan will involve prescribed acupressure point (don’t worry I will show you how to locate them correctly and back this up with written instructions), dietary advice as we really are what we eat and can make great health changes through our diet, lifestyle tips, a guide to exercise and relaxation methods as appropriate and advise regarding helpful herbal or food supplements.

This will make improvements in health for Body, Mind and Spirit easing the anxiety and stress many of us are feeling.

During this time I am offering my services at less than half my usual fee in order to make it accessible to all. A full consultation via your preferred social media or by phone will cost £30 and any follow up appointments £20. Once the pandemic has passed I will happy to prepare you for the transition into clinic where we can introduce my healing needles to your treatments.

Acupuncture for Health and Wellbeing

Acupuncture is a form of Chinese medicine that promotes natural healing of the body. The science and art of acupuncture involves insertion of fine needles into specific points along meridians, or channels, of the body to stimulate the nervous system, which then activates mechanisms to bring about balance and healing within the body. Acupuncture is a great way of getting well and helps maintain good health, enabling you to stay well.

Acupuncture is a safe and effective natural therapy and an increasingly popular form of healthcare used to treat a wide variety of ailments, both physical complaints and emotional issues - chronic or acute - as well as for general well-being.

In using a holistic approach with our patients we find that in addition to relieving the presenting complaint they also frequently experience improvement with other wellbeing issues.
